Responsibilities(职位描述)

Develop key capabilities for the generation of necessary organoid models; Validate the established organoid models with a large panel of reference drugs by functional characterization; Troubleshoot technical difficulties encountered in organoid establishment, growth and testing; Design and execute studies to profile candidate molecules (including biologics and small molecules) in organoid systems, especially in organoid tumor models (dose response experiments, profiling, comparing to control compounds);; Communicate results at project team meetings, be involved in the coordination and preparation of presentations; Lead a group of scientists on cell culture platform to support in vivo oncology studies; ? Direct leadership of several junior scientists is required; Generate SOPs to guide further organoid and cell culture platform activities;

Requirements(任职要求)

PhD in biological sciences required along with 2-3 years of industry, academic or research experience;
Extensive expertise working with organoid models;
Demonstrated scientific insight and problem solving, as evident in original research, contribution to drug discovery, or first authorship in publication or invention;
Demonstrated ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment, working on multiple projects with constantly changing priorities and deadlines;
Expertise in cancer disease states (indications, mutational status, tumor cell drivers) is plus;
Experience in managing scientists in a research organization; Excellent communications and interpersonal skills – bilingual in English and Chinese;
